“I've gotten way more value seeing and hearing Zane's approach to mixing than I did with other courses. Zane goes through ideas that I have never even heard of in my entire audio journey, and he also talks about things that people SHOULD know, but very often overlook. Nothing is ever done in a cookie-cutter fashion e.g. there will not be any golden preset settings for any EQ, compressor, etc. and everything is uniquely dialed in to bring out the most in a mix. I'm currently in the process of applying everything I've learned so far to my own mixes, and the results have been ONLY positive. Truly invaluable stuff!”
“Even only watching the first three or four videos of the series I got more knowledge out of this than I ever got out of other programs. Not gonna lie, Zane Pugh provides the insight for me in the last few weeks that I always wanted to get from all these courses. No hold backs, no things not specified, NO SETTINGS IN THERE as they won’t be applicable to other songs (as other people did.) After doing all those videos I’m sure that my mixing quality will significantly improve (and first of all: my knowledge of a lot of things already did).”
“As someone who bought the previous course and knows Zane well, I can 100% say this is NOT a “plugins on/off and copy my settings” course. You’ll learn a lot from how he uses his plugins, gear, and signal flow, but more importantly, you’ll see WHY he makes the decisions he does. I learned a lot from the previous course. There was a lot I chose not to include in my workflow (don’t thing I’ll ever be a full-on inside/outside guy), but a lot I did. Definitely a deep dive. For me, it was great to see how he approaches things and then reassess how I approach things. In my best Chef Reactions impersonation “10/10. Would try””
